Roy P. Polich

Roy was born and raised in Iron County, Michigan and graduated from West Iron County High School in 1974.  He was class president.  He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1978, receiving a Division One NCAA athletic scholarship, and was a member of the NCAA national runner-up ski team.

Roy received his juris doctorate degree from Cooley Law School in 1981, and is licensed to practice law in Michigan, Wisconsin and Colorado.  He is also licensed in the United States District Courts for the same states, and is licensed in the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

He is past president of the Iron County Bar Association, a member of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America.   He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Roy is a self-employed attorney with law offices in Iron River and Iron Mountain, Michigan.  He and his wife, Lori, have three children: Tyler, and twins Jake and Ally.   He is the President of the Iron Amateur Hockey Association and President of the West Iron County School Board.

Henry F. McRoberts

Henry graduated from Michigan State University in 1993 with a degree in General Business Administration – Prelaw.  After graduating from college, Henry attended the DePaul University College of Law, receiving his juris doctorate degree in 1997.

After graduating from the DePaul University College of Law, Henry practiced law in Chicago, Illinois for five years before relocating to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2002.  He is admitted to practice law in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois.  Henry is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court – Eastern District of Wisconsin and Northern District of Illinois.  Henry is the past President of the Dickinson-Iron County Bar Association.

Henry has successfully represented clients in legal matters including civil litigation, insurance defense litigation, divorce/family law proceedings, criminal matters (misdemeanor & felony), real estate transactions, estate/probate issues, and business transactions.

Henry and his wife, Lisa, have three children: Henry, Adelaide and Margot.  Henry has actively served his community by serving as a board member for the following organizations: Boy Scouts of America, Bishop Baraga Catholic School Education Foundation, Maryhill Manor, United Way of Dickinson County, and Dickinson County Brownfield Redevelopment Association.

John C. Kivisaari

John was born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, graduating from Norway High School in 2000.  He graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2004 with a degree in Economics.

After college, John went on to attend the University of Wisconsin Law School, receiving his juris doctorate degree in 2007.  While attending law school, John served as a judicial intern to Justice Jon P. Wilcox of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.  He also served as a law clerk for the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Office of Administrative Legal Services, assisting in the legal representation of the University.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School, John has been admitted to practice law in both Michigan and Wisconsin.  John was recently admitted to practice law in the United States District Court – Northern District of Michigan. 

John has previously served as the President of the Dickinson-Iron County Bar Association and as a court-appointed attorney for the representation of criminal defendants.  John has successfully represented clients in legal matters including misdemeanor and felony criminal charges, divorce and family law proceedings, estate and probate issues, will and trust drafting, and in various civil matters and disputes.
